On behalf of the Norwegian energy industry, including the Norwegian government, industry organisations and businesses, we would like to invite you to attend the International Energy Forum in Oslo, November 2-3, 2021.

The forum is organised by Norwegian Energy Partners in collaboration with four key industry associations and Norway's largest trade union, and is supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.

 

The forum takes place over two days with several parallel sessions covering the entire energy sector, including oil & gas, CCUS, hydrogen, offshore wind, solar and hydropower.

The overall objective is to address major trends and drivers within global energy industries to better understand short- and long-term business opportunities and highlight the main challenges and solutions that the energy industry is facing on the journey towards a net-zero carbon future.

 

This will be a unique opportunity to meet and network with key stakeholders and leading players within the Norwegian energy industry.

 

We hope that we will be able to welcome you to Oslo in November.

Summit

The Summit will bring together a range of high-level business leaders and politicians to discuss how the energy industry, governments, and finance institutions can work together to meet the future energy demands, ensure value creation, and energy transition with zero emission

 

We will hear from Norwegian and international industry leaders and key-stakeholders.

Oil & Gas

In this session, we will focus on opportunities for the Norwegian industry in international markets. From upcoming deep-water development, LNG, brownfield to plug and abandonment of existing wells.

 

We will hear from industry leaders and key-stakeholders, including; Equinor Executive Vice President, Projects, Drilling & Procurement, Arne Sigve Nylund; Gazprom Nedra:  Vsevolod Cherepanov, CEOShell, Jeff Edwards, VP Shell Energy Integration & Fundamentals; MODEC Director Boyd Howel; Delfin Midstream, COO Wouter Pastoor, Petrobras Executive Manager Deepwater Assets, Eduardo Bordieri, and SBM GUYANA General Manager, Francesco Prazzo.

Hydrogen & CCUS

The Hydrogen and CCUS session will present international opportunities for Norwegian suppliers in the energy sector with focus on European projects. 

 

In the morning session, we will cover the complete value chain from production of hydrogen with low carbon emission to storage, transportation and end users. In the afternoon, different projects in the CO2 value chain with capture, transportation, storage and utilization of CO2 will be presented.  The goal is to bring speakers from approved-, feasible- and realistic international projects together with relevant business stakeholders.

Offshore Wind

The industry is booming. Global growth expectations are high and accelerating for offshore wind in general and for floating wind in particular.

Join us to meet international peers and the Norwegian offshore engineering and maritime expertise.

Solar & Hydropower

In this joint Hydropower and Solar session we will discuss how Hydropower and Solar Energy can play a larger part in the global energy mix in the years to come, and what role the Norwegian supplier industry can play in meeting the increased global demand for energy supplies. 5-6 Norwegian and international developers will present their technology, project- and upgrading plans.

 

We will also hear from several Norwegian and international financing/guarantee organizations on how they can support realising the Norwegian energy industry’s international plans and ambitions.
